i am not referring to you in particular... simply to the group of people who have been arguing that <660mm PGO shotguns are non-restricted for years now, yet still have not been able to provide any hard evidence to back it up.
its dangerous to be doing this in a forum like CGN. there are newbies to the sport coming here to look up information all the time, and to ask what mods they can legally make to their shotguns: the last thing we need is one of them to read the assurances of a few vocal members here, put a PG on their 8.5" shotgun, and get nabbed by the RCMP for it.... then tell them and the media that he was assured that it was legal by www.canadiangunnutz.com
if you believe that a <660mm PGO shotgun is non-restricted, then by all means take steps to prove it. otherwise your posts are simply an opinion based on your own personal interpretation of a law that is untested in court and unsupported by any documents. pushing this opinion as fact in a public forum full of impressionable new shooters is very irresponsible.
