8" bull barrel for 10/22

If I put an 8" bull barrel (from Dlask) on my 10/22 with a standard stock would it become restricted?

Also, has anybody used this short barrel? Like/dislike?

I have the Dlask 12.5" barrel, runs like a top. As long as you keep the overall length of the firearm 26" or over it will stay non-restricted. Hope that helps.
 
I have the 8'' dlask in a boyd's evolution stock, its over 26'', which keeps it non-restricted. That little barrel shoots much better than I had hoped, I'm very happy with it. The 8'' has a sporter chamber.
 
I have a dlask 8" in a ruger stock and I made it 26 1/4" (the OAL of the stock)and also flush with the barrel just to be sure. The sight adaptor still goes past the end of the stock(just for the look, it doesn't count for the OAL. Great little rifle.
 
you can simply just sand out the channel of your existing stock by wrapping a wooden dowel in sandpaper, only takes a few minutes. Any .920 contour stock will work, the hogues are nice, you just simply have to measure and cut it back some.

PS. the 8" barrels are a ton of fun but just a word of warning, hearing protection is now a must, quite a different crack when fired

Order a Boyd's stock of your choice... any stock under $100 will ship to Canada... I think that covers all 10/22 stocks except the Barracuda ($115) and the Tacticool (restricted for export by ATF).
