Hey Guys,

Here is the unofficial class picture from this past weekends Black Badge Course held at the RA Center in Ottawa.

I had a great time helping out Tritium on this course as part of my process of becoming an instructor myself.

Thanks to JR at the RA for hosting the course. What a nice sports facility that is!

I know a couple of the students are CGN members so step up and take a bow! You all did a great job!

It was good to see some really good shooters looking at getting into our sport. Hell, even Revolver Division was represented (very respectfully, I must add!)

We had 7 more at EESA as well this weekend!

That is one hell of a long trip to help teach a BB course Phil! Good on ya!!

I had a blast in this course. Thanks again to Tritium and Filthy for the great weekend.

3 or 4 of us from this group are shooting this weekend in the squad at 1500. I can't wait :D

Scheduling has been quite a problem for me lately… too much crap on my plate (as usual). It just worked out well for a trip to Ottawa this weekend... with a quick visit to my sisters as well.

I still have to get a couple more courses in for my “apprenticeship”… got Dr. D coming down on March 7th, 8th & 9th. It’ll take a little bit of time… but I’ll get there. Tritium was great to work with.

I am going to try and apprentice with a couple different instructors so I can try and build my teaching style based on (what I feel) are the good aspects of the different teaching styles out there.

That is my plan as well.

Thus far I have done a course with Dr D and Azone........Hope to pick one up with Kent and perhaps Tritium
 
Not sure when our next course at the RA will be BUT, we are planning one for this spring (late April, early May) at Smith's Falls.

Hey, Filthy was a great help on this course and a valuable resource. He is going to be an awesome BB instructor.:)
 
I had a blast and learned a lot. The instructors were top notch and the course was well structured and fun (except for the paperwork part).
I am looking forwrd to this weekend.
