8 round .357 revolver durability

I’ve been thinking about an 8 round .357 revolver and wondered if the cylinders are built to a higher spec than for a 6rnd? Are there any OEM warnings about loads for these guns or am I just concerned over nothing really.

They are rated and chambered for .357 magnum. They are plenty strong enough.

My 627 handles magnums like a champ. Really soaks up the recoil too.

No issues with my S&W TRR8, by lots of moon clips (and invest in the loading and unloading tools) and it's a blast.

Wearing out a cylinder from normal use isn't really a thing. Buy whatever you like and enjoy it without worrying.
