using the FL die in the way I did may not be "as good as" using a neck die, but you have the FL die already....the neck die is a weeks shipping away from you. Just use the FL die in the manor I described for now.

As for different seating depths, to make life easier and less complex Id have started long. That is to say I'd kiss the bullets into the lands as a starting point, Ive found my best accuracy there, as well as at max powder charge or close to it. Once your seating depth and powder charge are maxed out, if you arent happy with the accuracy you only have one direction to go from there, down. Just makes things easier, and Im all for that!

Load up 20 rounds at 25.5 grains and with the bullets kissing the lands and using tight brass, Im thinking youll be where you wanna be :D

I would not go beyond the published max. I am shooting 75 grain AMAX with a 25 grain load of varget, small rifle magnum primer and I am getting 3400 fps out of a 30 inch barrel.

LOL,,,your chrony is reading several hundred feet fast....
