Hey, 'friend of a friend of a friend' is looking for some ammunition for a very old military revolver. I had a look and it has no markings on it other than '82 cal' stamped on the receiver, I don't think this exists, but it's a pretty definitive engraving. My thoughts would be that it was at one point '32 cal' and it was distorted over time?. Nothing even comes up on google when searched. Any idea where they could get some, if there is any available? I'll see if I can get some pictures if that isn't enough information. Thanks in advance :)

what .32 cal is it there a s**t ton .32 short and long colt,.32 S&W short and long,.32 acp all of these are prohibited cals any modern .32 cal pistol is prohoibited

god forbid someone use calipers to check the bore.

If you looked, could you not rule out 82 or 32 just by eyeballing the bore size? 82 is almost an inch.

Slugging the barrel gives definitive results everytime
