That's too bad. He blamed the Sun in his eyes and if that was the case, I don't think that's enough to call it a day - forever. Hope he changes his mind.

Well I think this might explain his lesser accuracy....

In all seriousness though, sad to hear - at least he states he will still come out and enjoy being around the sport

Seen it happen to many a Swiss shooter from the Canadian Swiss rifle clubs also. Age, diabetes, loss of vision, body stiffness, arthritis.....................
