858 gremlin

Just curious if the problem with the 858 has been worked out yet cause im REALLLLLLYYYYY considering buying one ..Oh and does this gremlin affect all 858's eventually or is it just a random occurance?

I bought mine from Wolverine supplys two weeks ago and it works great.

VZ-58s as far as I know very seldom gremlin. I am saying the VZ-58S model. 858 may be different.

from other members you seams to be right about that . i have the cz858 and now at 600 rds and not sign of gremlin so i went an bot one that has the gremlin , gonna find out whats it all about .

Usally if it's gnna happen it will do so right away. Mine started doing it on the second mag. Glad to have it fixed.

thanks for the replys guys. im 98% sure im gunna buy one cause ive alreday got 2 cases of the 7.62 for my sks .. i love the round and it would be nice to have another rifle in 762x39.

Everyone should get one, but....there is no way the gremlin had to be this notorious. It should have been rectified in CZ the first month it was evident.

No problem with my 858 . But you may want to consider a Ruger mini 30 if you want another 7.62x39 rifle (great short range dear rifle = to a 3030)

I don't like to comment here because I worked on a bunch of 858s and own a # myself .....and every gremlin is a matter of minimal tweaking and cleaning

PS: ALL RIFLES ORIGINATED FROM THE SAME PLACE
