So I just started modding my cz 858. I have a fabarms pistol grip and handguards. I want to get a cool stock but here's the thing....Not sure if I want to run irons or a red dot site mounted on the top handguard. If I mount a red dot there am I going to have to get an inline stock because the cheekweld will be to low? And vice versa with the iron sights, will an inline stock be too high of a cheek weld? Are there any inline stock adapters that are adjustable up and down for height?

Last question, I've got it narrowed down to a magpul stock, however, should I go with a magpul fixed or adjustable stock? Does anybody run a fixed magpul stock on theirs?

Thanks for the help!

I would suggest you get a stock adapter that is inclined (tilted down). It's what worked best for me. The iron sights on the 858 are pretty low, and even with a red dot (like a micro aimpoint, bushnell, sparc) it will still be fairly low, especially if you're trying for a co-witness. An inline stock would work better for a higher optic, like a scope. That's just me though, others may chime in. And yes you just need an empty buffer tube.

This tube comes with everything exept the stock, it has the original factory angle. The set has all you need to put it on your rifle. Next month we should have folding adaptors for this tube
