I just thought I would post a few of pics of my CZ 858 that I bought for a winter project but ended up completing it way to early. It started off as a factory configuration except for the extended slide release and mag release that were put on by the prior owner, but was missing the sheet metal grip insert, so the grip would just float around no matter how tight I tried to put it on. I ended up carving one out on my Bridgeport mill out of a chunk of 6061 aluminum that I had laying around. After carving it out I sandblasted it and sprayed it with some Tremclad, (a bit on the shiny side, but I'm sure that it will dull with a bit of use ).I also wanted to be able to use the Magpul MOA grip as the one from the factory is way to small. I also made an oversize charging handle on the lathe. Other than adding some NEA stuff, the Aimpoint Comp ML3 and a Magpul ACS-L stock, I think she came out pretty good. Let me know what you guys think?
