858's with B&T magwell adapter - need info

If anyone has an 858 with the B&T magwell adapter, I need some info for a project, specifically using the mag release.. How does it work?

1) You just pull the tab back and the mag comes out?

2) I am assuming that the tab is attached to a rectangular piece that enters the slot in the mag?

3) Is the rectangular piece under tension?

4) Is it possible to post up a pic or a diagram?

I'm modifying an SKS to take the XCR mag, got it to cycle snapcaps, so now I wanna figure out a secure way to hold the mag in. Thanks in advance for the info.

thats hard to explain. its just a spring lever. Best idea is to get a hold on one and explore it at your local brick and mortar joint. Or you could just buy mine and shove it onto your SKS

Lol, don't need the adapter or the mags but thanks for the offer Saw some pics and vids of mag catches and intalls for the AR platform so now I know how its done. Might be able to ghetto something similar. Can't use the stock part simply because of a very slight height difference.

Neither can the 858, it needs machining to get the mags at the correct level. The sks will as well as far as i can tell.

Its just a spring lever, see-saw style. Ill see if i can get a good pic.
