870 & 11-87 Butt Stock

I would say No.
The 11-87 will have a long recoil tube & spring in the stock - the 870 does not.

you can use an 11/87 stock on a 870 but you have to get a longer bolt and washer,most after-market stocks are interchangeable as it saves money.

I've got a couple Factory Remington LE R3 Limbsaver Stocks off of the 870's, and I would like to know if they'll fit on my 11-87

No, unless you bore a larger hole for the recoil tube.

Remington part numbers are the same for both guns on some of the synthetic buttstocks. Try it.

I have tried an 11-87 stock on my Wingmaster- It does fit in the reciever, but you do need a bolt change

yes you need the proper 870 type stock bolt and washers.
