870 2 shot Ext. pic request

Hi guys I'm looking to put a 2 shot extension on my new blued 870P however I want it to look more old school than tactical.

I've got a Wilson Combat unit and it is not the look for what I want.

Can anyone please post up some pics of their blued extension along with the brand.

I'm not overly worried about the finish, I am willing to refinish it. I've got a though of how I want the style to look is my thinking.

The one in the picture looks like it could be a Choate.

If you're looking for old school then why not get an actual Remington blued 2 shot extension. Although it looks very similar to Beeson's mount so I'm not sure that I quite understand what you're after.

The one we have is just a better copy of the factory rem +2.
Milled nut and end cap and a casting stamping like on other MFG,s
You could allways take one of our +2 mags and have it stripped and reblued.

Sorry for being confusing. I was trying to get a couple pics of the different brands/styles. The finish doesn't matter all too much, I willing to refinish to match the gun

Hey janesy... Knowing the condition of the particular 870 you're looking to put the extension on, I'd say get yourself a Remington factory extension and have someone re-finish it in high gloss blue. Personally, I think it's the only one that'll look "correct" for the piece... Unfortunately, Remington hasn't made the factory gloss blued extension in a few years, so if you do find one on the seconday market, you're a lucky man. In either event, hope you find what you're looking for.

Yes they are difficult to find , so I'm learning. This 870P is so nice for a police bruiser I don't want to mod it out with just any piece, I want it to look as though it came that way.

LOL, after re-reading my own post, it seems obvious which one I should choose.

If you want the real deal I'd contact Dlask. Believe they use 870 Express HD as the base for their 8.5" guns. They then sell the 18.5" barrels and the extensions for cheap. IIRC they used to sell the extension for around $40, have it reblued (they're matte blued) and your in business.
