870 A-Tacs camo

Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone knows what the A-tacs camo coating on the 870 tactical is made of? I tried the search and can't find anything, nor can i find it anywhere online. Thanks for the help.

Yeah, thats what i was thinking. Would be nice to know if it'll protect the gun from rust etc..

treat it like any other gun and you wont have to find out. Lol

it is put on buy a water transfer process. there is a film floating in water and you dip the part in to transfer the pattern. you can go to an outfit that installs it and have your accessories done in the same camo.

Hydro dipped and not a very good job of it either.

Hydro dipping can last a very long time, or not at all, some of the big production companys, do it quick and nasty, Remington and Mossberg are one of them.
