870 Ammo

As a relatively new shooter it's a little confusing to select shotgun ammo. I just purchases a Remington 870p MAX 1/4 choke. After wading through ammo for smooth bore shotguns, and ammo for rifle choke tube shotguns I found Winchester Power Point Slugs. I assume these are good to go for the 870. Can anybody confirm or provide correction?

they will all work

saboted slugs are designed to be accurate in rifled barrels, while the normal or forster type are best used in smoothbore barrels
