I'm pretty new to the whole shotgun scene (thanks to the 870 sale:) ) and I've been looking around for an AR adapter to go on it. Who all manufactures them? All I've found so far is Calvary Arms and MESA and they're both a bit pricey for what they are... The other one I've seen is the Knoxx Spec Ops stock, but I'm not really liking it because of the fact it won't take other AR stocks... And I want a magpul on there:p

Are there more options available out there?

OSTS Mfg makes them as well. Wolverine has some of these in stock (made by AGW before). Rails for them are in production as we speak.

Look-up Wolverine Supplies. They have the AGW AR-15 stock adaptor for sale there. 3ws.wolverinesupplies.com/default.asp?Pg=11&do=1&FIID=10. One Shot Tatical has a Picatinny rail to go with it 3ws.oneshottactical.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=oneshot&Product_Code=FP-870ARL&Category_Code=FP

I just got a set and it's awesome! (Thanks Jamie!) I have a Magpul CTR stock to put on it and just need to get a Stag buffer tube now.

I also have an AGW with a new Magpul CTR (6-pos.) There are some great pics if you use the Search feature. I haven't decided whether I'm going with an Aimpoint or an Eotech sighting system. I do have the full length rail system.

I really line the AGW set-up. On the range, it is very smooth! Here are a couple from Jason Brobee's initial pictorial:

The MESA LEO price is somewhat decent...
considering the 6 round saddle I just got from them it should be extremely well made too.

I have the Wilson Combat model and the fit is perfect. Just a FYI for yourself. Cheers

Keep in mind that you won't be able to use the bead sight if you get a straight AR adaptor... your cheek will sit too high. You'll need a rail and optic .

The Mesa Low Tube allows you to use irons.

Hey BBB! You ever think of making an S&J AR stock adaptor WITH built in single-point sling mount? Bet you'd sell tons if you did... hint, hint... ;)

I really like that Wilson Combat one! I have always been a fan of Hogue stuff and I too wanted to put a hogue grip on it :).

I did plan on getting a low tube setup, but I was wondering if I do decide to mount an EOtech on it, would a lowtube be too low? I haven't made up my mind on optics quite yet...

Also, I was just browsing the Brownells site and noticed these 2:
http://www.brownells.com/aspx/ns/st...itle=TACTICAL+STOCK+ADAPTER+for+REMINGTON+870
http://www.brownells.com/aspx/ns/store/ProductDetail.aspx?p=68&title=TACTICAL+SHOTGUN+SYSTEM

I'm assuming they're pretty flimsy (just due to materials and price) but does anyone have experience with either? Cause the more money I save on a stock, the more I can dump into optics for this or for my AR...

I'd like to see some photos of your set up. I don't think I've seen the CTR on a shotgun yet.

no the low tube is only for factory bead
but if you were to use the are rails and adaptor you could mount your EOTEC and then use BUIS on the rail.
This way you have the best of both ideas optic and BUIS
