If you want to keep use of your 'iron' sights, you'll need a 'low tube', like from Mesa Tactical.

The 'Brobee' or Argonaut Armament (or whatever they call it now) is designed to use optics mounted on top. You won't be able to even align the barrel bead with the rear if you don't mount a rail on the top.
