I own a s&w 3000 shotgun (12 ga 3 in)and i want to buy a rifled slug barrel.I read in previous thread that this model is a 870 copy.Someone can confirm if remington barrel can be fitted on this gun? It's very difficult to find info on s&w 3000 model.

The S&W is only based off of the 870, not an exact copy. I have both and I can tell you for sure that the barrels are not interchangeable. The portion that goes into the receiver is longer on the S&W, and the magazine tube is slightly longer as well.
