870 barrel too tight

I just picked up a used remmy 870 barrel for duck hunting, and was going to throw it into my dominion arms grizzly. The barrel is super tight going in, and i cant get it all of the way.

Has anyone run into this issue?

The HP9 and the Grizzly is more or less the same thing except market by different company with different barrel length configuration.

The reason it's snug is because the specs on the Chinese guns are a bit off compared to the Remington's.

Some barrels will fit and be a bit out of index and others will be too tight....

If you are always going to use this barrel on that gun you could remove some material to make it fit then it will only be a bit of on the indexing to the reciever....

I took some sand paper to the outside of the barrel where it goes into the receiver. It did not take much at all, pretty much just taking it so the blueing was gone, then re-blueing was enough.

The barrel is super tight still, however, no longer has to be tapped out with a small hammer...
