870 barrels

I have been looking for an 18.5"barrel (preferably thread for chokes) for my 870 express in Canada but it seems it is slim pickings compared to the States. I am just looking in the wrong place?

But 18.5in barrels with removable chokes are rare. However, you can get a fixed choke 18.5in barrel threaded for chokes.

You can pick up used barrels cheap for the 870. Then just get it cut and threaded for chokes. Ended up being cheapest option for me

Barrel 1: F105638 Barrel 12/20 RC RS SP TruGlo® - Mossy Oak Break-Up. Obviously as to the finish. I know RC is Remington choke, does this barrel ship with a choke?
Barrel 2 F401223 BBL 12/20 RC RS TG X-FULL. Again a Remington choke, does TG X-FULL = a turkey choke? And is this a Wingmaster, or some other finish?

Can't answer your questions .... but ...

- RS stands for rifle sights .... so one has TrueGlo rifle sights and the other probably standard Rem rifle sights
- Normally BL or Blue stands for a blued barrel, i.e. Wingmaster finish ... so I would assume that F401223 is parkerized .... and F105638 has a Mossy Oak Break-Up finish .....

Sights are listed like this:
RS - rifle sights
VT - vent rib?
BS - bead sight
?? - cantilever

And chokes:
RC - Remington choke tubes
And the rest are for fixed chokes.

Is there a code for the finish? Wingmaster, Express, police?
