Just need to change out the forend, I have a blackhawk laying around but might grab a magpul one. 870 Wingmaster, Ace Skeleton stock, high tube adapter with hogue grip, Mesa rail/shell carrier with sparc and the high mount, +1 mag extension, no jam follower and 14" barrel.

looks good, although I don't like the huge misalignment between the stock and the receiver. If their profiles matched up correctly I'd say it's perfect. Definitely unique though

That's a pretty good build! 10x better with the Blackhawk forend on it, but how does the stock feel? It's a cool design but it's looks pretty long, but to each their own.

Optic looks really high and the stock looks really long whats your oal? How you liking that hogue grip I hated mine and couldnt get rid of it fast enough.

looks good. Is your cheek weld ok, that sight is about 2-3 inches way high, but if it fits you, good.
i have an 870 with Knoxx spec ops, put a rifled IC bbl on her. works fine, after i polished up the rough edges on the internals (2012 brand new receiver).

There are very few AR stock adapters that will accept a fixed stock so my options were limited. I wanted the Ace skeleton or ultra light in "entry" length but have not been able to find one new or used yet (still looking)

The optic looks high but I wanted this set up to feel similar to an AR with the high tube adapter

i am curious , is that one of the armoured car guns ( 870s ) that were seling awhile back for 150 ?

Yup. Best $150 I've spent in a while.

I also got a deal on a heavy profile dlask barrel I am thinking about running but I don't want to lose the +1 extension

I kind of liked the old school looks of those Wingmaster 870 Police Shotguns......maybe just redoing the wood and cleaning the metal would have been cool . There are alot of tactical style shotguns around....not so many old school armoured car shot guns still kicking....it would have been a unique shooter with history...

Just for you Gunexpert007 :)

Thank you....I guess I am just an old school guy in a high teck world . Luckily , I do have a Smith and Wesson M-3000 police ( OPP overrun purchase ) shotgun and two Winchester Defenders to hold me over . I also have a couple of modern 870s , but they do not have the old school charm of the Wingmasters....

I like the traditional looking shotguns as well. I set one up with the ar stock and couldn't get it off quick enough ( I think owning a wingmaster for 40 years, it's just what feels natural in the hand). I will admit that I am thinking about the red dot more and more because the old eyes aren't what they used to be. But I definitely have a weakness for Wingmasters
