The stock on the Remington looks very much like a Butler Creek folding stock . Goto ww w.butler-creek.com most seem to be black , any other color may have to be ordered special or painted. The solid steel model could be painted or powder coated very easily and are available at some of the sponsors at the top.

Reliable Gun said they were getting a bunch of them in. That was a couple weeks ago, so not sure where they're at with that now.

i believe the tactical choke was part of the package. was about 700 with the taxes. you in the city?

I'm 5 min from SIR. Will have to drive by and have a look:)

Edit to add... On the REM site they list the choke tube for $55.20.(Haskinator Extended Ported Tactical) I might try order one for my 12.5" Rem

The "Special ported Tactical Extended Rem™ choke tube" looks interesting..

So this means two things: First the barrel on this gun will take other threaded choke tubes, and second that this new thingie should fit in any barrel threaded for Rem choke tubes... Interesting.

Thats what I am hoping for

The choke looks like a breaching attachment used to keep the muzzle away from the breach point and jagged to hold it in place or to avoid slipping....
