Sorry thought I should start a new thread instead of high jacking Canadian Kestrel's thread.

I dont mind the finish on the gun or the sythetic stock as far as using it for shooting geese and ducks, its the mention of the cheaper parts that concerns me.

Do you guys think that Remington will sell me new trigger guard for it that is metal...I am sure that the police models that have the same finish have a metal guard so it should work....not to mention loosing the "J" lock at the same time.

They are offering a $50 rebate in Canada for the 870 Express Super mag as well...so its a good deal all said and done you get it for about $350 including GST.

I looked up the rebate on Remington.com and found this "Offer good in the USA only" do you know of a way to qualify as a Canadian customer?

Well, according the latest SIR 2005 Super Saver flyer, it's good for Canada, too.

How do I get my hands on one of those flyers? or do you have a link where I can find out more info?

sorry double post, mouse is hooped!

They have a Canadian Rebate and the Gravel Agency is handling it...you can contact them and they will send out the coupon which you fill out and send back to them with the proper receipt. Call them at, 418-682-3000.
