Well my wife has warmed up to her new Express Tactical now that it has the 12" LOP Hogue stock attached. The only finishing touch it needs now is a shell carrier. I was thinking of one of those 6-shell capacity lightweight black plastic ones that fit against the receiver and mount by replacing the trigger assembly pins with black screws. Retention has to be good to hold the shells pointing up or down. The wife has small hands/fingers if that makes any difference.

I've looked at the available options and used the search feature of the forum and to be honest I'm a little overwhelmed with the sheer number of brands and product choices that fit this exact description. Is one brand just as good as any other? Any specific suggestions including where to buy would be most welcome...

Thanks Nathan. I should mention that it need not necessarily be made out of plastic. Anything lightweight that doesn't add noticeable poundage to the gun would be fine. So aluminum would be an option as well - price under $100 if possible, and no rail is required since the Tactical comes with one already for the rear sight.

I was just looking at the Mesa SM 6-Round Shotshell Holder for the 870. That seems to be quite popular and have some good reviews...

And there's also the ones by Scattergun Technology, Phoenix Technology, AP Industries, Command Arms ACC, Vang Comp Systems, and many more. It's driving me crazy I tell ya :p

I should have also mentioned that my wife will be using her gun for competitive matches (like IPSC). I don't know much about it because I only shoot pistol, but it seems everyone shooting IPSC shotgun has these things attached, so I assume they must get to use them occasionally.
