I was reading on the web (of all places 
) about turning an 870 into a rapid fireing machine. Kinda like a model 12 winchester trench. Anyone hear of this before, and can it be safely done on a 870? I want to remove that annoying slide lock "push forward before cycling" anyway. Anyone got info?
I also am interested in any other modifications that might be possible (beneficial) for my 870 project.
So far I have a Dlask 12.5", a pistol grip forend and a standard 870 wingmaster from mid 80s.
