They ended Auto 5 production there sometime in the early 2000s. The barrel will be marked as such. Not sure when production switched from Belgium to Japan.

In 1976 production of the auto 5 moved to Japan . 2000 browning catalog shows the auto 5 final tribute model .

Absolute garbage, will rust when exposed to any moisture within 30 mins.
