I want to replace the s**tty plastic trigger guards on my 870s with metal guards,

are these available or sold separately?

not worth buying them separately - youll pay half the price for a metal triggergroup as you would for a complete 2 3/4" wingmaster receiver.

if youre dying for something to improve, swap out that Knoxx foreend :p

I think the plastic guard is actually superior to the powdered aluminum sinter cast version.
 
try Brownells. Last time I checked they had the 870P trigger group but was out of stock. The also ship to Canada no problem.

With the QC at Remington being what it is these days, I would not use anything that does not come from the "Police" section of the factory in Ilion NY. At least then you know that someone has checked it before it went out the door.
 
spoke to few armorer's including casey and they all said the plastic trigger guard are gtg and no point in getting the metal ones.
 
870 P as in police model? If so, I was under the impression that all trigger guards are metal on Police shotguns.
