870 peep sight help

Does anyone have any experience with changing the rear iron sight on an 870express slug barrel to a peep sight?

Doubt that you would see that much if a peep were mounted on the barrel, that's why they are typically mounted on the receiver. Check out Wilson TRAK-LOCK® II Ghost Ring Sight Set. TacOrd can install and provide them. The receiver must be drilled and tapped.
