I just recieved a brand new 870 police. It has the walnut stocks, bead site and parkerized finish. It has the U cut in the lifter piece on the bottom.
I have not fed it real ammo but i have these anodized aluminum 12gauge snap cap dud shells.
When i cycle these it seems to want to send two shells from the magazine port at the same time and this causes a jam up. I cant cycle through it and have to use a screw driver to push the second shell back into the magazine so that I can cycle the first shell.
Any idea what causes this on a brand new gun???

(Good way to wreck the spring) Another thing I have seen is people put a +2 extension and then use the factory mag spring again and wonder why it doesn't feed properly.
