Hi everyone. I have a stock Green 870 Police. It's in good condition. I haven't fired a shot from it, but I'm not the original owner. I bought it years ago in a packaged deal. I actually thought I was getting a 870 express. What is a reasonable price to sell it for?

A green coloured 870 Police? I personally don't recall such a model. 870 Police models command higher prices than Express models without doubt, as do Wingmasters and Marine Magnums.

I recall there was the 870 Tactical, which was indeed offered in green. It was for all intents and purposes an Express with different finish and usually different stock/fore-end. They sold for about $500 new IIRC.

Not totally sure without seeing pics of the gun ; but as already mentioned , Remington did have a green coloured shotgun which was being promoted as an 870 Tactical , and I believe it had a camo style stock as well . I seen a used one not long ago at a dealer for $550 .

Yes, Midnight Rider. You were correct. It is a Tactical Magnum. After doing some research it appears that Remington stopped making them over 10 years ago. Thanks for the information.

Remington made them in matt black, OD, desert tan, and desert digital. I heard rumour of another in a flat grey but never saw one nor ever a pic other than custom builds in grey. I am guessing, the person from whom I heard about the grey model, was actually talking about the Marine Magnum.

In practical terms they are a $500 gun but I have seen private sales listed on the EE and shops jacking the price to $1000 with the COVID fears, increased demand, and limited stock.
