870 rebate

So 2 months ago I purchased an 870 and sent the form in right away for the $50 rebate that was going on at the time. I’ve yet to receive a dime of it 2 months later. Any idea why it’s taking so long?

They take their sweet time. You can check the status online. Remington rebate access.

usually takes around 3 months for rebates to come in,for me anyways.

I just got notice it's been received and processed. Sent it in almost a month ago.

If there anything like savage you will never see it sent in a rebate request for a savage 2 years ago and never seen a thing

I didn’t get the rebate for the rifle I bout a year and a half ago. It just never showed up. I’m hoping the current rebate shows up although it won’t be for a bit yet.

Long story; bought PARA pistol as Remington took over. Wife hounded them for 18 months to get the rebate. The cheque is in the mail, got lost, reissued twice. Take names dates and times keep records. YEP got the money in US funds.

I put in for several Remington rebates for the 783 some I got and one the rifle did not qualify???
Phoned Remington and was told the serial #'s don't qualify???
Never did make sense of that one??? These rebates are a shady business...

Rebates take forever... Ive only ever done a few but I'm pretty sure I did one once that took 5-6 months.

I have had two that I sent (complete with all information forms barcode tops) that I never received back on ammunition rebates.

I called and emailed and was given a complete runaround.

I don't even think of the Remington rebates as a valid marketing tool anymore
