I have 1 870 and 5 BPS shot guns. The BPS is smooth, and always works perfectly. I brought my upland BPS to south america dove shooting because I know it will work perfect even after shooting a case of cheap shells.

Hey - enjoy your 870! I wrestled with the same decision a few years ago and ended up with a Benelli Nova instead. Great gun, but ugly as sin.
