no chokes. The factory will not do screw on chokes so close to the brazed barrel ring

Deal breaker for me unfortunately and I gotta say it’s pretty ridiculous that they can’t thread a 14” barrel as you used to sell grizzlys with 12.5” barrels threaded for winchokes. Hell I was able to have a 12.5” griz barrel threaded for tru chokes and the barrel ring is closer to the muzzle than on a 14” barrel.

Provided the muzzle of barrel has the the correct wall thickness and o.d. it can be done, I had a 12.5” barrel threaded. Pm me if you want some details of who I used for it, it worked out great.

We don't plan to carry them as the Remington ones are so common. When we did carry them they were slow to sell.

Dlask still has some short 12.5" 870 barrels in stock on sale for $200. Rem choke threading is an extra $95 though.
