Would both the 12.5 and 14 inch barrels on the 870 still make it non-restricted?
Provided the OAL is at least 26, then yes.

Agree with the fit and finish esp the machining quality at the barrel extension. Way nicer than my 2011 version and better than the 870 Express machining. Also the bead is straight. Is the wall thickness thicker as well compared to previous? Looks like enough meat for chokes.
