870 Slug barrel question

Hi everyone,

I have a 870 supermag combo with the 26" smoothbore and a 20" rifled barrel for slugs. I interchange them once in a while to shoot slugs at a target but not too often since slugs are expensive . Here's my question, if I take off the barrel and put it back on , will I have the same point of impact on the target? I'm asking because I keep moving the sights on it... just because it never seems to shoot at the same place from one day to the next. Groupings at 50 yards are very tight so I know it can shoot well. Can anyone confirm/deny if switching barrels will change the POI? Suggestions? comments?

Trick

When changing barrel, give it a clockwise turn when fully inserted to put and keep the barrel extension in abutment against the left side while tightening the locking nut hard. You'll see that your groupings will be more consistent.
