Unfortunately my 870s stock is a little short for my gangly arms which results in a bunch up shooting position.

I am looking to extend my stock but haven't found much info. I can't think I'm the only one to face this issue with such a popular firearm.

I've ordered the stock extension kit from Remington Canada, just waiting for it to arrive. Does anyone know if you can stack all 3 spacers between the stock and the pad or if you are limited to just one.

I'm hoping my only option isn't a whole new stock.

Any tips or input is appreciated!

Cheers!

don't think there would be a problem, You might have to get longer screws. Some times the synthetic stocks can be hard to get spacers to fit. But wood is a breeze. Good luck, I feel your pain I have gorilla arms too

Update:

Received the Remington Stock Extension kit for synthetic stocks. It comes with 3 spacers (2x 1/4", 1x 1/2") and three sets of screws to allow you to add up to 1" total on your length of pull.

Going to test out the 1/2" spacer and go from there. Hope this info helps someone else down the road.

Cheers!

Same issue here with shotguns. I see the kit I installed on my Wingmaster a decade ago came with two 1/2" spacers and I installed one 1/2" spacer in front of the 3/4" recoil pad.
