I have an older 870 shotgun. I also have a newer factory synthetic stock for it. I have tried 2 different length stock screws but neither works. One is too short and the other too long. Not sure what is going on, is there 3 different lengths of screws? Maybe I need to swap the receiver nut thingy? Any help is appreciated.
