870 Super Mag

All of my other 870 12ga barrels fit on my super mags other than some of the older ones need the other old style mag nut.
Most shorter barrels you will find will be 2 3/4" and 3" only so be well aware of that when shooting your gun not to put a 3 1/2" in by mistake.
I did find a 21 and a 23" barrel also in 3 1/2 off some of the turkey guns if that will work for you keep an eye on the EE that is where I eventually found mine. Good Luck.
Yep, have two super mag 870's with shorty 870 express barrels on them, one 12.5 inch and one 14". Like 3macs1 says, be mindful not to put 3 1/2 rounds in it by mistake. To tell you the truth I don't even know if you can chamber the 3 1/2 inch round in a 3 inch chamber.
My deer gun is an 870 express with a slug barrel on it and my brother used the barrel on his 870 super mag when he goes out. so yes they are interchangeable, why my brother just doesn't take my setup and save me the hassle of tracking down my barrel when I want to go blast deer is beyond me!! anyway hope this helped cheers!
