870 supermag

i was wondering if the barrels between standard 870s and supermags are interchangeable? i know obiously not to shoot 3.5s in a diff barrel i put on it but is the receiver/barrel thicker/different structurally that makes them not interchange? also does the supermag action feel exessively long? interested in buying one but i dont want it if it wont interchange with my other 870's

yes, the barrel are almost identical, a regular barrel fit on a super mag 870 (other way around is not suggested since you could put a shell that could make the receiver explode).
