870 tactical stock - too long ?

can i shorten the stock and find smaller size rubber end piece ? or how else can i do it ? stock is too long for me, its a stock 870 tactical magnum pistol grip with fixed butt. edit: its plastic.

but i like the clean stock stock look, the one you posted would be perfect but i dont like how it looks.

I would be easier to get a youth stock as they are about 1" shorter.

if you dont like that style, but do what you have. myself id think about throwing it at the bandsaw, and making a new buttplate. then you get what you want.
