Did you remove the mag cap and spring and push it out the tube?
The other way to clear is to drop the trigger assembly.

My mag extension is pretty much welded on for now due to generous loc-titing. My next option was to pop the trigger. It didn't come to that though. Certainly not something that you would want to happen in a life or death situation! Entirely an operator error.

I would definitely prefer to have a short barreled mossberg, but since they are almost impossible to get up hear i think i will be going with a DA once they are back in stock this summer.

my grizz is a little stiff on the pump action on the bottom inch or two of the stroke.
