870 waterfowl jamming

Hey guys I had a Remington 870 express supermag which I had for about a year. I could cycle any ammo through it wether it was cheap 2 3/4 #7 shot bulk packs or 3 1/2 #2 steel. I had no issues with the gun and loved it. The only reason I sold it is because I used it around salt water a lot and it rusted very easily so I sold it and got the camouflage version which is the exact same gun just camo and called the waterfowl edition. Now the only thing I can fire out of it without jamming is high brass shells. Anything with a low brass it will jam up every shot. Any solutions or reasons to this problem?

Return it and get a different one. Not acceptable.

Common occurrence with the new 870s. I have experienced this on 4 different 870 Magnums and SperMags. The only exception is the Wingmasters, which so far seem to have retained their quality in machining.

Polishing of the chamber with a 410 brush is required with some/most Express 870s.

Had the same issue in an 870 Express. Chamber polish solved it.

Replace with Wingmaster.

Polish the camber. Check on Youtube. Tons of videos. Or just shoot the H@! out of it and it will work itself out. 10 minutes f polishing mine and it cycles like a dream
