Hi all,

Im just doing a little research and remington made a wingmaster with a 3.5 inch chamber in the late 90's to the mid 2000's. If anyone knows where I can get one of these, please let me know. I also have a post on the EE forum. Thanks again

Yes I have been watching for one for VLT79 for a few weeks now.
There was a few in canada in the early 2000's for sure don't remember them in the late 90's. 98 was when they introduced the 3 1/2 870 but not a wingmaster I thought they came out in 2000 off the top of my head and hit canada in 2001 I bought one in early 2002?? and still have it NIB. They were over 900 bucks back then and do more than that now if you can find one in canada

Well keep an eye out for me as well. Thanks

2000-2008 is apparently when the 3.5" Wingmasters where produced. The early ones had the scroll engraved receiver and the later ones were clean. The one I just picked up has a clean receiver.

3macs1, thanks for keeping your eyes open, you're a true gentleman! If you see one, give NewfieSupernova the info please...seeing as I have one en-route right now anyway! However...if you find a 2nd one...well let me know...a guy can never have too many Wingmasters! Haha! Yep, I did indeed foolishly pass up on a couple NIB guns a few years back but when cash is low a guy is best to remember his priorities in life!

No problem Some one has them in canada since I seem to recall 8 in the batch I bought out of and I think VLT79 told me he had a crack at some new ones back then but didnot buy.

Cool Congrats. Yours coming state side I assume?? Mine is scrolled I think?? hard to remember :D when you own more wingmasters than I have fingers and toes.
It is a sickness just like you have with the superx1 :)

Yep, it's coming up from the US! I had put a WTB ad on ShotgunWorld and a fellow from Oregon offered me his. It's missing the ejection port cover, port cover spring and has one dent in the stock but other than that it's in great shape. Even with import fees it'll be under $525 by the time it gets here...so I got really lucky! The missing parts are on order from Numrich too. I've got a few 870s as well...no where near as many as you though!

Cool Congrats. Great price also. Ahh it doesn't take long to build up a pile of 870's when you buy your 1st new one in 1965. I have sold off and my brothers took about 1/2 over the years considering when the old man passed there was over 40 in his collection. But the last ones I will sell went when I joined here mostly NIB ducks unlimited guns from the early 80's. Rest come to the grave with me
I would say you could match me gun for gun with your super x1 collection and some day you will get my last 4 of them I kept from probally 10 or 12 he had.Owning a small gun shop and working on firearms in the 60's and 70's he knew what to gather as I am seeing now . It is only in the last 10 years do I realize what a cool childhood I had. Hated working in the shop as a kid but man on man would kill to have that experience again today.:)
Cheers

Oh yes it was 2000 also I found them being introduced in the rem 2000 cat. Sorry for the pic quality dropped my litttle camera and she is a hurting unit right now
