870 wingmaster barrell question

can a regular 870 12ga. barrell be mounted on a 870 wingmaster 12ga?

whats the diffrence between a regular 870 and a 870 wingmaster?

It can fit, express barrels and wingmaster barrels are interchangeable.
No real difference other thank finish i believe. Experts can correct me if i'm wrong.

The wingmaster is finished and considerably smoother.

But ya pay for it.

makes me feel better about picking up my wingmaster off the EE for $250. sure it has some scratches, but i'm willing to live with a scuff or two with that kind of price diffrence!

there is I believe an extra 15 hours of mainly manual buffing and finishing on the internal and external parts of a Wingmaster. Dude doing it is probably making around 20 bucks an hours plus the extra money for equipment and material, plus a real walnut stock and fore-end. Bottomline is that it adds up to the extra coin you have the shell out for the Wingmaster. kinda like buying a stripped down Chevy half ton for 18K or 55k for a loaded Denali.

geez forgot to mention. none of my Express barrels are a smooth fit on my 50's and 60's vintage Wingmasters. they will go on but it is really tight.
