870....wood or synthetic?????

i've always liked wood better than synthetic but if it's just going on a gun thats gonna be used in the field alot i like synthetic cause u don't have to take care of it and it won't get scratched up and ugly. but the wood on and 870 isn't that nice to begin with so i'd just stick with the wood u have
