870P sling options...advice please

Hey guys...what are you all running for slings on your tactical shotguns? I'm having a bit of a tough time finding something that I may like, but I think I'm overlooking it. I currently have a Remington 870P with a Mesa LEO stock kit...the stock adapter has the integral QD mount, but I don't know if I really want to run a single point sling on it. I'd like to run a 2 point sling, but would like to hear from a few of your own personal preferences and experiences. Thanks...
 
^^^ Nice , I like the Vickers on a carbine , But for a shotgun , specifically one with a Mesa leo stock you should maybe have a look at magpul ms1 system it's very flexible , you can set it up as you like , you can even rig it to switch back and forth from single point to two point easy.

What kind of stock do you have on the mesa ?
My set up front para clip to a GG&G sling plate and a ms3 QD adapter [ that's a ms4 adapter in the picture have since swapped it out for a ms3 one.] for ether the QD point on the mesa or off side QD point on a magpul CTR stock.


 
I have a LMT SOPMOD stock on mine. It's a Gen I, so depending on what type of sling I decide on, I may need to pick up one of the GG&G Sling Things.

I really like the idea of the convertible sling...I think having the option of running it in single point or two point is great. This would be perfect as I could actually use the same sling for multiple firearms, and just tailor them to my liking. I like that idea...

All depends on the game I'm playing but most of the time with QD studs, I just run a black Super Sling II. For other steel plate course of fire shooting, it's the Magpul MS3 for me.

Try a bunch at your local (or nearest) 3 gun match. Talk to other shooters and see what they like or run. You will be in for a learning experience. Don't be in a hurry to buy until you find the one that works for you perfectly. :D
