All kidding aside and not to be a jerk but kicking ass where? In the gun safe I suspect? I have only seen one 1100 being used in registered shooting in a longggggg time and not even one 870. I see a few guys who come out a few times through the season to practice for hunting season with expresses but thats about all. Seems like the registered circuit is dominated by K guns, P guns and B guns and the casual shooters (hunters practicing) seem to lean towards Benelli semi’s.

Man you must have been beat real bad over the years with remingtons since you sure have a dislike for them
Any how. Must be why even today they the 1100's are still America's best selling semi-automatic shotgun of all time and IMO got more new shooters into the clays games than any other shotgun did.
There are a hell of a lot more shooters out there than the registered k and p gun snobs and yes I had my years of those also and yes many are snobs so would not expect to see any 1100's there. Did I shoot any better than I did with a p or K than with a 1100 NOPE
Then again you are the dude that sold his nice super x1. Humm :) Still the best semi ever made even in 2018 IMO
So to each their own and I will always like 1100's
Cheers

My dislike for them had nothing to do with being beat by them. I started out with one and carrying a parts kit and breaking down mid-tournament got old very quickly. I used to scoff at one of the guys I shot with who used to say “Ohio farmers love 1100’s, they make great lightning rods planted barrel first in a field corner” but now I tend to agree and I know nothing about lightning rods! :p Don’t take it to heart, I’m just jerking your chain. I still own A Remington, a model 3200 Trap. BTW I sold all 4 of he SX-1’s I had. :)

Cant say I care for Remington’s, but those walnut stocks sure are beautiful. I’m a sucker for beautiful wood....put wood of that quality on a brand of gun I like to shoot and I’m all over it like a fat kid on candy bar
