8mm Lebel pistol what size for bullets

Hi got my self an 8mm lebel pistol last year decided to try it out got dies brass but what to use for bullets .
 
Cartridges of the World says they are .323" diameter and weigh 100 grains roughly. I would suggest slugging the bore and also checking the chamber to make sure it will accept oversize bullets if necessary.

Guns of the world lists bullet diam. at 8.3mm converts to about .326-.327 thanks any help is welcome
 
The differences between references combined with variations in manufacturing standards, comes back to "slug the bore" and confirm what your specific gun really is. As an example; I once owned a 38-40 with a bore of .410 as opposed to the .401 it was supposed to be.

I managed to buy bullets fmj from gadcustom cartridges.com and more brass he also makes centerfire convertions for the swiss 41 rim fire vertterli and brass and many ather obsolete cartridges PH. 715-748-0919 ask for Bernold
 
Had one of these years ago.... By all means slug the bore. Plenty of loading data out there,,,,
I used .32SWL cases work fine, a bit short.... I understand Midway has brass....

Great gun but do your self a favor and get an NEI mould for it. The 100 grain .330 copper plate bullets are tapered and can give trouble with inconsistent ignition. Maybe you will have more luck but a tried alot of crimp variations and never was satisfied. I was using 32-20 starline and remington brass formed to exact 8mm lebel revolver specs. Fantastic gun, great cartridge enjoy.
