8mm Mauser ammo?

Remington , Winchester and so on sell 8mm or 8x57 factory loads and hornady sell 8mm or 8x57 JS? Ive noticed the JS ballistics are twice what the Remi and Winchester loads. Im ordering a M48 yugo Mauser rifle.
What the diff in the ammo and can I fire the hornady stuff too? (Hunting only)
And lastly surplus 8mm ammo, where can I get it?

I think surplus will be hard to find. Igman hunting ammo can be had for about $11 per 20 rounds via Distrcorp

I can't find any cheap 8mm Mauser ammunition anywhere...

If anyone finds some, please let me know.

"...What the diff in the ammo and can I fire the hornady stuff too?..." Marketing and yes. It's the same thing, unless it specifically states 8mm J. 8mm J used a .318" bullet. What is now the standard factory 8mm Mauser(aka 8 x 57, 8mm, 7.92 x 57) load uses a .323" bullet.
