Sorry if this has been asked already but I just got to know this.

Just bought a Yugo M48 from Marstar's
Im told the big 3 load this poorly and that the Europeans like Sellier & Bellot, Igman ect beef up the loads. The question I came up with is what is the difference between 8mm JS, 8mm JR, and finnaly 8mm JRS? What can I fire in my yugo M48? Its never had a shot put thru it so I dont wanna screw it up!
Again sorry, Im sure this has come up many times before but I couldnt find it.

GUNNUTZ RULE!!!!!!!!!!    :p

8x57 J or I is the older version of the cartridge, .318 bullet diameter.
8x57 JS or IS is the modern version, .323 bullet diameter.

An "R" in an 8x57 designation indicates the rimmed version of the cartridge.

You want 8x57 JS or IS to shoot in your M48A.

Note: Both IS and JS are in common use and mean the same thing. I can't remember if the "J" is just a corruption of the "I" for Infanterie or if it stands for something else.
